Synopsis
“Skate Like a Girl” is a short documentary that follows Evie Ryder a female skateboarder who started skating at the age of 7 only to give it up at the age of 19 due to Isolation and fear. Ten years later, Evie rediscovers her joy of skateboarding while teaching others to skate. Including interviews with other female skateboarders, exciting skateboarding footage and her own experience, Evie tells a story of overcoming the disempowering effect of poor visibility of women in skateboarding.
